Appeal for information, witnesses or mobile phone footage following the assault of Lee Starr at Wanborough Motocross Event on Thursday 22nd August 2024.


Details of Incident

An investigation has been launched following the death of Lee Starr who was assaulted whist at the Wanborough Motocross Event on Thursday 22nd August 2024. Emergency services were called to The Stubble Field shortly after 9pm following reports that a man had been assaulted and sustained significant injuries. Lee was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of injuries sustained in the assault. A male was arrested and has been charged however the Major Crime Investigation Team are appealing for further witnesses. 

This was a busy event, and it is believed that many people may have witnessed the assault, or parts of it. Anyone who saw what happened or may have mobile phone footage is asked to complete the form below or contact us on 101, quoting reference number 54240099346.
